I regularly visit Rutland Water to walk the dog, photograph the scenery, wildlife, changing seasons, weather and water. The Cormorant visited and obligingly waited while I took the photos. I was never quite sure who was watching who? The painting, I hope, captures his presence and beautiful colour using my abstracted pared-back style.
